Peace be upon you, SKI Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga (MOSAIC FEB UNAIR) Dakwah Horizon Cabinet. On Friday, August 20, 2021, one of the work programs of the PSDM division of MOSAIC FEB UNAIR was implemented, namely the 2021 MABIT activity via the Zoom application. This year's MABIT activity chose the theme "Building Islamic Civilization Through Dakwah Strategies in the Pandemic Era". This theme is relevant to the current conditions. The COVID-19 pandemic has indeed changed all aspects of life, including Islamic civilization. Nevertheless, Islamic civilization will continue to experience development and keep up with the times along with the digitalization of technology.
This is reflected in the development of Islamic da'wah through various existing applications. Undoubtedly, preparing a superior generation of Muslims is paramount. This generation of Muslims is the driving force behind the development of Islamic civilization. Therefore, without a superior generation of Muslims with noble morals, Islamic civilization will struggle to progress. The 2021 MABIT event was held to increase devotion to Allah SWT and also as a platform to strengthen ties among the MOSAIC management of the Dakwah Horizon Cabinet.
The 2021 MABIT activity began with an opening ceremony by Muhammad Hikam Assidiqi (Head of the PSDM Division). Before the activity began, it had become the identity of the MOSAIC activity, namely the reading of the holy verses of the Quran by Muzzamil (10 minutes). Next was a speech from the Chairperson of MOSAIC 2021 by Muhammad Hafidz Zulfan and continued with a speech from the Chairperson of MABIT by Pregita Alifia Putri (15 minutes). After the speeches from the Chairperson of MOSAIC 2021 and MABIT, the next event was the main event, namely the delivery of material from Kak Abidin (55 minutes). To increase familiarity between MOSAIC administrators, a game was held that had been designed by the committee (15 minutes). The 2021 MABIT event ended at 21.10 WIB marked by a closing statement by Muhammad Hikam Assidiqi (MC) and a group photo session.
