The Student Executive Board (BEM) FEB UNAIR is a student organization committed to being a strategic partner in developing student potential, policy advocacy, and implementing work programs that impact the academic community and society. As an organization oriented towards capacity building, BEM FEB UNAIR continuously strives to improve the competence of its functionaries so that they are able to carry out their role as effective and responsive agents of change. Kastrat Talks is one of the flagship work programs of the Department of Strategic Studies and Action (KASTRAT) BEM FEB UNAIR 2025 which is present as a media for publishing strategic issues based on visuals and educational videos. This activity is designed to be a creative channel in conveying current studies and issues to students and the wider public through an approach that is informative, interesting, and relevant to the dynamics of the times.
Kastrat Talks consists of two main segments, namely:
- Stories – graphic visual content that includes highlights of studies, strategic issues, and commemorations of major holidays.
- Economic Corner – short videos that connect economic concepts with ongoing socio-political phenomena.
Through Kastrat Talks, the KASTRAT Department aims to create an educational and engaging communication space that not only increases students' literacy on important issues but also builds students' sensitivity, participation, and critical thinking as part of an active and aware society.
Kastrat Talks contributes to the achievement of several Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including:
SDGs 4: Quality Education
SDGs 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth
SDGs 10: Reduced Inequality
SDGs 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities
SDGs 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions
