Annual Party 2025 is a work program of the Human Resources Development (HRD) division that aims to commemorate the anniversary of the Workshop Entrepreneur and Business Society (WEBS) and strengthen the relationship between active WEBS members and alumni. This year's WEBS Annual Party carries an interesting theme, namely A Walk Down Memory Lane, a nostalgic journey and reflection towards a new chapter, will be held on May 17, 2025. This event is not just a birthday celebration, but a celebration of the long journey of the Workshop Entrepreneur and Business Society (WEBS) student organization that invites all members and alumni to together remember and appreciate every step that has been taken. The theme "A Walk Down Memory Lane" was chosen to reflect the winding journey of the organization, from its inception to the present, considering the contribution of each management who has dedicated to building WEBS into what it is today.
A warm and nostalgic atmosphere will be presented through various specially designed event segments. Memorable photos and documentary videos will be the center of attention, presenting flashbacks of precious moments, proud achievements, and the long journey of WEBS from year to year. Every photo and video will be a silent witness to the struggle and hard work of each individual involved. Furthermore, special performances from representatives of each management will enliven the event, showcasing their talents and creativity, while also representing the spirit and vision of each leadership period. Testimonials from alumni, as pillars of WEBS who have contributed significantly to the organization, will provide inspiration and motivation for future generations. They will share valuable experiences, offer advice, and strengthen the strong family bonds between WEBS members across generations.
Thus, "A Walk Down Memory Lane" is not just a remembrance of the past, but also a solid foundation for building a brighter future. This event aligns with SDGs point 4 (Quality Education) because it encourages continuous learning, leadership development, strengthening collaboration, and knowledge transfer between generations, while strengthening a sense of togetherness and solidarity in achieving common goals.
This year, WEBS not only held meetings between active members and alumni, but WEBS also actively provided activities that impacted MSMEs as a form of gratitude for WEBS's anniversary. This activity was held on May 10, 2025 for community service activities aimed at MSME actors. This community service activity itself was held in the Cendrawasih Hall, Universitas Airlangga .
This activity was carried out with the aim that WEBS could further develop and be able to provide real impacts and benefits to the wider community. Also, by holding this event, it is hoped that WEBS can continue to maintain harmonious relationships both among active members and with fellow alumni. It is hoped that through this activity, WEBS can further strengthen internal family ties, expand business networks, and provide a positive impact on MSMEs as part of WEBS's contribution in supporting the achievement of SDGs No. 8, namely decent work and economic growth.
