Upgrading is one of the strategic work programs from the Department of Human Resources Development (PSDM) Catholic spiritual services, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga (FEB Unair). This activity aims to shape the character of management with integrity through the process of internal development that emphasizes the values of kinship, togetherness, responsibility, and love. The atmosphere of togetherness created in this activity is expected to be able to strengthen relationships between caring and strengthen the spirit of service based on Catholic values. Aside from being a place to strengthen solidarity, upgrading is also a medium to increase self -capacity in terms of organizational commitment, leadership insight, and professional work ethic. The management is equipped with material and reflective and inspirational activities in order to deepen the understanding of the values of spirituality and social responsibility.
Directly, this activity supports the achievement of several points in Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including SDG 4 (Quality Education) through the provision of non-formal learning that builds character and leadership; SDG 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions) by encouraging the creation of solid, transparent and inclusive management; and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) through strengthening cooperation and collaboration between management in achieving common goals. Through upgrading, it is hoped that the management of the FEB UNAIR Catholicism services for the 2023 period will be able to continue and increase the positive trend of the previous period, as well as being an agent of change that has a positive impact on the campus community and the wider community.
