Every year, LPPM SEKTOR regularly holds a School of Journalism, a national journalism training seminar with engaging discussions. On Saturday, November 13, 2021, the SOJ event was successfully held with the topic "Spreading Journalistic Inspiration During the Pandemic with Technology." The topic was highly engaging and is expected to assist journalists during the pandemic. Moderated by Muhammad Aufal Fresky, Editor of the Kabar Madura Daily, the event successfully explored the topic thoroughly.

The seminar began with a captivating discussion from Nikmatus Sholihah, a contributor to UNAIR News. The first speaker explained how journalism is evolving during the pandemic. The pandemic has provided new experiences in the world of journalism. Therefore, the material presented was very useful in facing challenges and how to adapt to them. Next, an equally interesting discussion was delivered by Andreas Wicaksono, a journalist from the Indonesian Journalism Alliance. He discussed optimizing social media as a platform for creativity. The presentations from both speakers provided a wealth of information and inspiration to continue working during the pandemic.
