Islamic Days (ISDAYS) is an annual event that is the culmination of various work programs at Mosaic FEB Unair. This year, Isdays will be held with the theme "Guide the Path of Islamic Young Leaders to Navigate the Future". This activity has two core activities namely mic and symbols of goodness. Mic is an abbreviation of Mosaic Islamic Competition, an Islamic competition for high school/MA equivalent and students in East Java. While the symbols of goodness are Islamic study activities as in general.
Mic or Mosaic Islamic Competition is a forum for creative and innovating for students, especially at the high school/vocational/equivalent level and students organized by SKI UNAIR FEB, Mosaic. This mic is the top event of Isdays which is Mosaic's largest proker and is held every year. Types of competition or competition for Isdays in 2024 are Musabaqah Hifdzil Qur'an (MHQ) and Islamic Careful Competition (LCCI).
Syiar of goodness is a series of major work programs from Isdays in 2024 in the form of Islamic studies in order to increase faith by inviting students of Universitas Airlangga and the general public in increasing the knowledge and insight of Islam, accompanied by interactive question and answer sessions by the speaker. This Islamic study event is intended for all Muslim students Universitas Airlangga, and the general public aimed at spreading positive messages, good morals to improve the ability to think critically related to the issue being discussed, in this study will be discussed in the Islamic view by speakers in accordance with their fields. The concept of this event is the delivery of material by speakers related to the theme that has been determined and question and answer interactively.
Through this event, it is expected that the participants, especially Islamic youths, can build friendship and develop their communication skills and creativity. The competitions held will train the ability to read the Qur'an, critical thinking, which is relevant to the target of SDGs 4 (quality education), by helping to improve the skills of the younger generation in practicing the Qur'an and creative thinking. Musabaqah Hifdzil Qur'an provides an opportunity for Universitas Airlangga students to express their love for the Qur'an, as well as deepening recitation, compassion, and memorization, in line with the hadith of the Prophet who stated that "the best of you among you are learning the Qur'an and teaches it" (HR. Bukhari).
