Cultivating a Family-Friendly Relationship among Administrators Through Upgrading Activities

Upgrading is an activity that is always carried out at the beginning of the management of the Economics and Business Student Cooperative, commonly known among FEB residents as KOPMEB. This upgrading has become a tradition passed down from generation to generation, between management periods. But don't be mistaken, this upgrading is a scary activity, there are "angry" sessions between seniors and juniors. This upgrading activity is solely to strengthen the management team so that the execution of the work programs that have been prepared during the management period can run solidly, unitedly, and smoothly. The implementation of this upgrading activity is expected to produce solid management, of course, can establish the desired "teamwork".

This upgrading activity was held on Friday-Sunday, March 15-17, 2019 at Villa Vanny, Pacet, Mojokerto. This activity was filled with several cohesiveness games. Since this activity was to build a sense of family and cohesiveness, all administrators were randomly divided into several groups and rotated to participate in the games so they could get to know each other. In addition, there was material provided by the KOPMEB Supervisor about organizational material so that later they would understand the substance of joining an organization. Because many students just join organizations without knowing what they really want to find in the organization. Then this activity was followed by a fire. Of course, what was burned was not a house, the fire in question was grilling corn, sausages, and other types of food. After that, all administrators, including the general chairman of KOPMEB, Michael Hans Hartojo from the 2017 Development Economics class, wrote their first impressions for each of the administrators.

Of course, this upgrading activity must be maintained so that it continues from one management to the next, with the hope of producing administrators with a strong sense of family. This aligns with the general cooperative principle of family. Furthermore, it can also enhance cooperation among administrators, thereby achieving the classic tagline of #zeromistake.
