Universitas Airlangga Stock Exchange Competition or UASTEC is a sub-event of the Management Expo organized by the Student Association of Undergraduate Management, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga. UASTEC is a competition about stocks. UASTEC 2025 presents two competition categories, the first is STOCKVERSE for high school/vocational high school students, a competition with three stages: the preliminary stage in the form of a Quiz, the semifinal stage in the form of making a Video explaining the paper. The paper is about research on an issuer from a fundamental and technical analysis perspective as well as macroeconomics, finally the final stage in the form of a Focus Group Discussion and Presentation. The second competition category is Virtual Trading for active undergraduate students. With the theme "Global Economic Opportunities to Sustainable Investing: Strategic for a New Era in Capital Market" UASTEC 2025 wants to show that Global Economic Trends have opportunities that can create value from sustainable investments. Assessing the company's capabilities at the macro level and then at the micro level will provide sustainable investment opportunities. ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) is a strong supporting indicator in determining sustainable investments. The main themes of UASTEC 2025 relate to SDGs 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production), and 13 (Climate Action). UASTEC 2025 is expected to be a starting point for participants to foster a healthy competitive spirit, broaden their horizons in the world of finance and capital markets, foster analytical skills and financial literacy, and provide new perspectives on stock investment.
