The use of English as a means of communication worldwide and its rise to international status has significantly encouraged all students to develop public speaking skills. However, many students still lack the necessary skills to fully equip themselves with public speaking, which is crucial in today's globalized era. Therefore, the management of Universitas Airlangga Undergraduate Management Student Association (HIMA) held a workshop.

The workshop is an activity to share knowledge while providing training to participants, where this activity discusses the development and training of public speaking, which will later be useful for students who want to participate in student exchange programs, continue their education abroad, or prepare for the world of work. 

This workshop activity is expected to equip Universitas Airlangga students with public speaking skills and create competent graduates who are ready to enter future levels.

The 2023 Workshop activities have the theme "The Role of Public Speaking for A Higher Level Communication."

This material will be presented by Mr. Derek Keith, a native speaker from Wall Street English. His skills and experience in public speaking align with the workshop's objectives.

This event will be held on February 28, 2023, via Zoom Meetings. The presentation will last 40 minutes, with a 20-minute discussion session.
