Competition for solving business problems in a company environment for students throughout Indonesia is back! In 2023, HIMA S1 Management Study Program Universitas Airlangga held a "National Business Case Competition 2023" or NBCC which is one of the prestigious sub-events in the 13th Expo Management (Mexpo). Carrying the theme "Youth-Driven Sustainable Investments: Exploring Esg-Focused Strategies for Sustainable Economic Growth".
This year, the 2023 National Business Case Competition is related to SDGs number 8, namely Decent Work and Economic Growth and 17, namely Partnerships for the Goals.
The series of events that will be held by the 2023 National Business Case Competition consist of Main Events and Side Events. Main Events begin with the Preliminary Round which will be held online, the Semifinal Round online, and the Final Round offline at Campus C, Universitas Airlangga, Surabaya, and closed with the Closing and Awarding which will be held offline at the designated venue.
Apart from that, at Side Events there will be an online Training Day as a form of benefit for competition participants in the form of training related to soft skills followed by a Webinar for all participants of the 2023 National Business Case Competition. Then the third is a Company Visit specifically for Semifinalists, and a Mentoring Session which is especially for the Finalists.
With the 2023 National Business Case Competition, it is hoped that Indonesian students can develop their critical thinking, ability to innovate and be creative, and collaborate in solving business problems.
