Management Startup Challenge or abbreviated as MSC, is a startup plan competition at the high school/vocational school level and D3/D4/S1 level (maximum 6th semester students) on a national scale that aims to increase the entrepreneurial spirit of school and college students.
MSC 2021 is a sub-event of Management Expo 2021, which serves as a platform for channeling innovation and creativity in today's digital era. Through MSC, it is hoped that students will be able to solve fundamental problems in the industry that we raised in the sub-theme of MSC 2021. With the theme "Being a Productive and Creative Millennialpreneur in the Digital Era," Millennialpreneur means a millennial who is running a business. This year's MEXPO theme focuses on the growing number of young people who are aware of the importance of creating new jobs with the development of technology. The development of digitalization in various sectors makes it easier for millennials to be more creative and innovative in developing businesses. MSC 2021 also carries 4 sub-themes: AGROPRENEUR, SOCIOPRENEUR, ECOPRENEUR, CREATIVE INDUSTRY
This year's MSC will open registration from July 16 to September 16, 2021. In this preliminary round, participants must submit their business ideas in the form of a BMC or Canva Business Model. There is no limit to the number of participants who register for this preliminary round, and registration is free. The announcement of those who pass to the next round will be on October 3, 2021. Participants with the best business ideas will advance to this stage, and a fee of IDR 150,000 per team will be charged. Each team is required to submit a business proposal. MSC also provides benefits for high school/vocational school participants to learn more about the Management Department through a Management Class Simulation program. The final stage will be held on November 14, and the top six teams will be selected from high school/vocational school and university students.
