Business Visit Singapore-Malaysia 2018 is a work program implemented by the Universitas Airlangga Undergraduate Management Student Association under the auspices of Universitas AirlanggaUndergraduate Management Department. The 2018 business visit was held on October 14-17, 2018. This activity was attended by 29 students from various classes, both undergraduate management students and transfer students. BV participants visited several important institutions in Singapore and Malaysia. The first visit was carried out at the Port of Tanjung Pelepas (PTP) Johor Bahru Malaysia. This port is the busiest port in Malaysia, especially Johor Bahru. There, BV participants, as Universitas Airlangga Management students, were invited to directly dive and see how operational activities are carried out at the port, how PTP responds and regulates incoming and outgoing ships, and learn how the business processes are carried out by PTP.

On the second day, participants visited the Port of Singapore Authority, Singapore's largest container port. According to data, this port is the second-busiest in the world after Shanghai, China. Relying on state-of-the-art technology and the PSA's several regions, each divided according to the field or category of goods transported, we were invited to a discussion at the PSA tower to observe firsthand the operational activities of Singapore's busiest and largest port.

On the final day (the third day), participants visited Singapore's Marina Barrage. The Marina Barrage is a dam built to regulate the flow of water into and out of Singapore. Besides being a dam, the Marina Barrage also features a room displaying Singapore's future plans for environmental issues, including environmentally friendly waste management.

The program aims to provide participants with an understanding of a company's operational activities, its business processes, and the implementation of technology within the company. These three topics are covered in several courses in Universitas AirlanggaBachelor of Management program.
