Entrepreneurial skills are currently one of the most needed skills for human resources (HR) in the Industry 4.0 Era. Entrepreneurship is a process, not a stand-alone activity, but rather an ongoing activity (Nusantoro, 2002). This process includes planning, organizing, operating, and taking risks in a business venture (Griffin, 2004). In this highly dynamic era, HR is also required to possess creativity and an innovative mindset. Entrepreneurial skills have many influences on individuals, such as creative thinking, communication, and decision-making abilities. Entrepreneurs also play many important roles in a country's economic development, such as increasing job opportunities, addressing unemployment, and creating new innovations that benefit society.
Currently, many startups are emerging with creative and innovative ideas, but are forced to close down due to their inability to overcome challenges and capitalize on existing opportunities. Furthermore, most of them lack discussion partners or business mentors to develop ideas and overcome their business problems. Mentoring is a supporting tool for young entrepreneurs by providing mentors and assistance in overcoming problems, providing useful insights in running a start-up business by learning from the mentor's previous experience. Mentoring is useful for providing opportunities for development, providing personal support and motivation where the relationship between mentors and their students is a mutually beneficial relationship. Therefore, the Student Association of the Undergraduate Management Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Airlangga held an Entrepreneur Class with the theme "Crafting a Marketing Strategy that Drives Business Success," which is a workshop and business mentoring for entrepreneurs in Indonesia that aims to develop the entrepreneurial skills possessed by participants.
