In the digital era, skills in communication and information media are essential. Conversations and information delivery require specific media for their implementation. The media used should be able to clearly visualize the information or explanations provided. The forms frequently used in these media are graphic design and videography. Graphic design and videography play a crucial role in presenting information because they can provide a unique appeal to viewers.
The creation of graphic design and videography is inseparable from the underlying soft skills. This is certainly related to students involved in the digital era. Soft skills need to be trained and honed further so that students become more proficient in producing graphic designs and videography. Therefore, the Student Association of Economics, Universitas Airlangga held the Mastering Kominfo 2025 for the internal Communication and Information Bureau of the Student Association of Economics, Universitas Airlangga . With the Mastering Kominfo 2025, the internal Communication and Information Bureau is expected to learn and hone soft skills, and utilize the provided platform optimally so that when they enter the community environment, they are prepared in both hard and soft skills.
More than just technical training, this activity also contributes directly to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially SDG 4 (Quality Education) because it provides a non-formal learning space that supports the improvement of 21st-century competencies. In addition, this training also supports SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) by strengthening students' readiness to face the creative digital-based world of work. In terms of innovation, this activity is in line with SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure) by encouraging the creative and productive use of information technology. If developed through broader collaboration, this program can also strengthen SDG 17 (Partnerships for Achieving the Goals) by building networks and strategic collaborations between stakeholders.
