Indonesia Economics Events (ECCENTS) 2025 is a HIMA Economic Work Program that focuses on the Scientific Writing Competition (LKTI) and the procurement of general seminars that discuss the economic and policy conditions in force in Indonesia. This event will be held in the city of Surabaya and participants in this activity are students from all over Indonesia. This work program has been carried out consistently for 17 years.
ECCENTS 2025, hereinafter referred to as 18th ECCENTS, has a different concept concept from the previous year, in previous years, this event made the abstract collection as an initial selection to continue to the next round. This year, 18th eccents no longer made abstract collection as an initial selection. The initial selection on 18th Eccents was the collection of Pitch Your Idea (PYI). This is because Pyi explains the concept of writing more than abstract. With a collaborative and progressive spirit, Eccents are back as an annual event that not only accommodates competition and discussion, but also becomes a space for building intellectual connections between students and producing constructive policy thoughts and recommendations for national economic progress. The consistency of the implementation of ECCENTs is a clear reflection of the commitment of Hima IE Unair in supporting the development of students' intellectual capacity and strengthening economic literacy among young people in Indonesia, especially students of economics and development studies.
Universitas Airlangga Student Economic Student Association focused on applying the SDGs goals. The purpose of the SDGs related to this event is SDGs Number 1 (without poverty), number 4 (quality of education), number 8 (decent work and economic growth), and number 16 (peace, justice, and tough institutional).
The target of this activity is all students from universities in Indonesia (for scientific writing competitions), students and general (for national seminars). 18th eccent consists of several activities, namely:

Indicators of the Success of the 18th Eccents event:
● Getting 40 LKTI Abstract Sender.
● National seminar participants reached 115 participants.
● Participants 85 % assess good in the survey for the National Seminar.
● Participants 85 % assessed both in the survey of the entire series of ECCENTS activities.
