
Hima Economics, Universitas Airlangga held an Entrepreneurship Class (E-Class) activity initiated by the Department of Entrepreneurship as an agenda of providing business planning material with the aim of fostering a young entrepreneurial spirit from an early age. Through this activity, it is hoped that all active students of economics will gain a broad and comprehensive understanding related to business planning, which can be realized significantly through the process of exposure of materials to inclusive consultations with speakers.
The implementation of this e-class also supports the achievement of the 8th SDGs: decent work and economic growth, by producing prospective young entrepreneurs who are educated and trained to open up decent jobs and contribute actively to economic growth. In addition, this activity also represents the 4th Purpose SDGs: quality education, because in its implementation presenting speakers who have capabilities and competencies in their fields, so they are expected to be able to provide quality education and training.
E-Class is also a forum for sharing experiences about how to arrange and develop business in a structured and systematic way in order to have a sustainability in the future. The target of this activity is all active students of economics. E-Class will be held for two days, namely on 17 & 24 May 2025, at the Tirto Hall, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga .
E-Class activities include sessions of exposure to business plan materials, intensive consultations with speakers, brainstorming each team in determining business ideas, to presentation of the results of business plans that have been made. Indicators of the success of this activity are a minimum participation of 4 teams (each consisting of 3 students of economics). This upgrading activity is expected to take place smoothly and have a positive impact on all participants.
