ECW (Entrepreneurship and Career Workshop) is the largest annual event series organized by the Development Economics Student Association Universitas Airlangga. This event aims to provide a platform for students, in particular, to prepare themselves for the role of entrepreneurs or competent workers. Through talk shows, career workshops, and a community bazaar, ECW serves as an inspiring platform and provides the knowledge and entrepreneurial skills needed to navigate the dynamic world of business and careers.

The 13th ECW, which includes a Career Workshop and Entrepreneurship Talkshow, will be held at the Fadjar Hall on Saturday, November 2, 2024. The Macrofest (tenant bazaar) will be held at the Front Yard of the Ex-Pharmacy Campus B UNAIR on Monday, November 4, 2024. The presence of ECW is a manifestation of our support for SDGs 1 and 9.

SDG 1 aims to eradicate poverty. The ECW can support this goal by providing participants and audiences with knowledge about the world of entrepreneurship, such as introducing how to become a successful entrepreneur or starting one from scratch. It is hoped that by increasing the number of people who know how to start a business, when they succeed, they will create many jobs for the community. This can create human resources for sustainable economic growth. SDG 9 emphasizes industry, innovation, and infrastructure. This means that holding the 13th ECW can generate innovation or ideas for building businesses and advancing both the F&B and non-F&B industries in Indonesia.

Thus, the 13th ECW can provide a means to build innovation, industry and efforts to eradicate poverty that support the achievement of SDGs 1, 8, and 9 by providing information on how to build businesses and provide innovations on creative businesses and advance MSMEs (a manifestation of the implementation of Macrofest).
