The increasing progress and achievement in the arts is a very interesting phenomenon, especially for students, the nation's future generation, who are expected to bring positive change to our nation. Non-academic aspects are one of the supporting factors. Painting, sports, and music are among the most popular non-academic fields of study in recent years. These achievements would not be possible without the support of facilities and infrastructure.
As the Economics Student Association, we took the initiative to organize an activity that aims to provide a means to examine the potential and skills of students, especially Economics students and the general public.
Arts activities play a vital role in promoting cultural expression and creativity in society. Art is not merely entertainment; it plays a crucial role in society as a medium for expressing ideas, emotions, and thoughts. Through arts activities, individuals and groups can convey messages that might be difficult to express through words. Art provides a pleasurable and inspiring aesthetic experience.
Through the beauty of visuals, sounds, and colors, art can evoke feelings and provide enjoyable and inspiring experiences.
"ECONOMICS ART (E-ART)" is a platform for people with interests and talents in the arts. This activity will begin with a gathering of artistic talents from both within and outside the campus environment, which will then be showcased in an exhibition and handicraft-related activities that are open to the general public.
In the field of music arts, a singing competition will also be held to channel their work and hone their skills.
E-ART is also in line with SDGs numbers 4 and 8, which emphasize the importance of improving the quality of education and developing creative skills for the younger generation.
Through this activity, students and the community are given a space to express themselves, hone their potential, and enhance non-academic skills that support competitiveness in the creative workforce. Furthermore, this activity contributes to the growth of the creative economy by providing opportunities for individuals to showcase works of art that have economic value.
Thus, E-ART is not only a place for art appreciation, but also a real contribution in creating an innovative, productive, and sustainable society.
