This program is a program from the Department of Social, Community, and Environmental Affairs (SOSMAL) of the Development Economics Student Association (HIMA EP) of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga. This is all intended for the entire academic community of the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Airlangga. As is known, waste is a serious problem in the community environment that can cause pollution. The same is the case with the use of plastic. Plastic is an artificial inorganic material composed of chemicals that are quite dangerous for the environment because it is difficult to decompose naturally. Therefore, the use of plastic is not friendly if used without certain limits.
Beyond waste and plastic issues, health issues also require attention during the COVID-19 pandemic. Mental health is paramount, as it's difficult for people to focus on their mental well-being during times like these. Therefore, it's crucial to maintain your own mental health throughout the current situation.
This is what drives the existence of "Green EP", which is a work program provided by HIMA EP Universitas Airlangga for students and is expected to inspire the wider community to care for the surrounding environment and reduce the use of plastic in everyday life and pay attention to their mental health conditions during the Covid-19 pandemic.
