COMDEV (COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT) 2022 is a work program of the Department of Social Affairs that focuses on community service through village development in the fields of environment, economy, health, and education. Ngembat Village is a village in the Gondang District, Mojokerto Regency, East Java Province. Each hamlet has different advantages, but on average, this village is known for its excellent tourism and natural potential. However, Ngembat Village has problems in the distribution and marketing aspects that remain major challenges. Therefore, COMDEV this time chose Wedoro Village as its target. 

The 2022 Community Development (COMDEV) program began in March 2022, beginning with visits to two prospective new villages. A village research review will be conducted, and one village will be selected as the project location for COMDEV 2022 and the following years. Further research will be conducted on the selected new villages, focusing on four areas: environment, economy, health, and education, each with its potential, strengths, and challenges.
