ESSAY "NATIONAL ENVIRONOMIC AND SOCIAL TALK"

Essay Competition - National Environomic and Social Talk held by the Forestry Management Study Program in the Bogor Agricultural Institute took place in a series of events on 12-14 October 2018 at the IPB campus area. As the only delegation that departed from Universitas Airlangga, I was selected and passed in the top 10 finalists to present the essay with the theme of Forestry. Not very relevant for Akunani students indeed, but that does not mean you have to be afraid to try something different. Among the entire selected teams, I am the only person who raised individually, while the team from other participants, in the form of a team consisting of 2-3 participants.
The overall participants were very varied, of the 10 finalist teams, all of them were from different universities/institutes, from Medan – Riau – Yogyakarta – Bandung – East Java – Palangkaraya, Bogor each representing. The agenda that I found while there was a series that was not much different from competitions in general. After arriving at the location, immediately went to the accommodation at Wisma Amarilis IPB Campus, until the evening the Technical Meeting started to prepare the next day's presentation. I received the serial number for the 7th presentation in front of the jury, committee and existing participants. Presentations are carried out openly in the Courtroom provided.
After the presentation was finished, I and the other participants enjoyed Ishoma and took part in a series of campus tours at several SPOTs at the Faculty of Forestry and Faculty of Animal Husbandry. The next day, was the last day of a series of events, closed with a seminar by a speaker and the event closed with the announcement of the Essay Contest Winner. It's a shame, I personally haven't had the opportunity to bring a trophy from this event. But I am sure that I have tried and given my best to my alma mater, Ailangga University. In the future, I will work harder to make Universitas Airlanggaproud.
