
In 2025, the Capital Market Study Group (KSPM) of the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Airlangga launched an innovative program called Market Talks, designed to improve financial literacy and creatively introduce the capital market to the younger generation. The program focuses on disseminating capital market education through social media in the form of short, informative, interactive videos that are easy for a wide audience to understand.
Through Market Talks, KSPM FEB UNAIR provides an opportunity for students and the general public to understand current issues in the capital market in a simple yet educational manner. Content publication through social media, particularly Instagram, allows for broader reach while also being relevant to the characteristics of Generation Z, who tend to consume information visually and concisely. With content formats that include fun facts and market updates, participants and audiences not only gain insight into the world of investment but also encourage a growing interest in capital market activities. This activity will be held from May to November 2025.
This program is part of the Strategy Division of KSPM FEB UNAIR 2025 which aims to present creative learning media outside the classroom, with the hope of supporting the development of analytical skills, communication skills, and financial literacy of students. The activity mechanism is carried out in a structured manner, starting from theme determination, material research, script preparation, video recording, and the editing process before being published periodically on the official KSPM FEB UNAIR account. With the presence of Market Talks, KSPM UNAIR is committed to creating an inclusive, modern, and sustainable capital market education ecosystem in answering the financial knowledge needs of the younger generation.
