PESONA is a program of the Community Service Department of BEM FEB UNAIR 2024 that aims to support MSMEs and increase students' social awareness of global issues. This program consists of two main sub-agendas: Pengmas Kepo (Maskepo) and Hari-Hari.
Maskepo is a videography agenda that promotes MSMEs around campus through short, informative and engaging videos. This program provides students with insight into the challenges faced by MSMEs and encourages them to care more about local entrepreneurship. Maskepo supports SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth by helping the promotion and growth of MSMEs, as well as creating broader economic opportunities.
Hari-Hari aims to increase students' awareness of social, environmental, and humanitarian issues through publications and real actions. Each major day commemoration will be packaged in the form of social media campaigns, seminars, and social activities. Hari-Hari supports SDG 13: Climate Action, SDG 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions, and SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities through education and student involvement in global issues.
Through PESONA, students are expected to play an active role in supporting the local economy and building broader social awareness, in line with achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
