The Student Executive Board (BEM) FEB UNAIR is a student institution that is committed to becoming a strategic partner in developing student potential, policy advocacy, and the implementation of work programs that have an impact on the academic community and the community. As an organization oriented to capacity building, BEM FEB UNAIR always seeks to improve its functionary competence in order to be able to carry out the role as an effective and responsive change agent. Kastrat Talks is one of the leading work programs of the Department of Studies and Strategic Action (Kastrat) of BEM FEB UNAIR 2025 which is present as a medium for publication of strategic issues based on visual and educational video. This activity is designed to become a creative channel in delivering actual studies and issues to students and the public through an informative, interesting, and relevant approach to the dynamics of the times.
Kastrat Talks consists of two main segments, namely:
- Stories - Graphic visual content that contains highlight studies, strategic issues, and commemoration of holidays.
- Economic Corner-Short video that connects economic concepts with ongoing socio-political phenomena.
Through Kastrat Talks, the Kastrat Department wants to create an educational and attractive communication space, which not only increases student literacy on important issues, but also builds students' sensitivity, participation, and critical power as part of active and conscious people.
Kastrat Talks also contributed to the achievement of several Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) points, including:
