FEBerbakti is a routine event organized by the Community Service Department of BEM FEB UNAIR, which includes two series of activities: SERBUNG (One Hundred Packs) and DONDAR (Blood Donation). This event plays a crucial role in supporting the achievement of Sustainable Development Goal (SDGs) number 2, namely "Ending Hunger, Achieving Food Security, Improving Nutrition, and Promoting Sustainable Agriculture."
SERBUNG is a concrete effort to address hunger by distributing food to those in need. It targets not only the community outside the campus, but also students and the campus community (security guards, janitors, parking attendants, etc.).
On the other hand, DONDAR is also an important part of the effort to achieve SDGs number 2. The UNAIR Student Executive Board (BEM FEB UNAIR) organizes this activity on campus, which is open to all UNAIR students and academics. Donated blood can save lives and support food security by providing health protection for blood recipients. It can also support the availability of sufficient blood for medical purposes, thereby reducing health risks associated with blood shortages.
Thus, FEBerbakti is not only a social action, but also a concrete step towards achieving SDGs number 2 which aims to end hunger and improve nutrition in the UNAIR region.
