FRESH (Friendship in Economic of Sharia) is an introductory activity for new Islamic Economics students through an orientation period that aims to introduce the department and lectures. In addition, FRESH also aims to instill values in new students by implementing the values that will be carried out in FRESH 2024. With a measurable theme and mechanism, the existence of this FRESH 2024 activity can improve the quality and quality of new students as a foundation in college life, especially in the Islamic Economics department Universitas Airlangga . The series of FRESH 2024 activities will be carried out offline for 4 weeks, precisely on August 23, 2024, September 7, 2024, September 14, 2024, September 21, 2024 and closed on September 28, 2024.
The activity of introducing new students to the Islamic Economics department is delivered as an activity to provide material related to the department and lectures held during the orientation period. This activity is carried out with two-way interaction and implementation of values with all activities that include a weekly agenda to support the instillation of values in FRESH 2024. The FRESH 2024 activity will carry the Grand Theme (Empowerment for Active Contribution to Ekis) with the hope that new students can demonstrate potential through characters with integrity to make real and active contributions to ekis. So that the potential contained in each student can become a strength to be able to contribute positively, especially to EKIS UNAIR.
The FRESH 2024 series of activities began with a welcome for the New Students of Class of 2024 on August 23, 2024, then continued with Day 1 (September 7, 2024) with the concept of the event being a seminar as a projection of the potential and position of UNAIR Islamic Economics and also providing FGD (Focus Group Discussion), Day 2 (September 14, 2024) will be held on campus with outbound activities aimed at instilling Islamic Economic values in the form of fun games and making the New Students of Class of 2024 solid, Day 3 (September 21, 2024) will be held activities that accommodate new students to display Journal Review Presentations that have been made by each group as a form of training the creativity and cooperation of new students. Then finally, it is closed with a Closing Party (September 28, 2024) where New Students will be released to face the world of lectures and have sufficient provisions from all FRESH 2024 activities.
In the entire series of FRESH 2024 activities, we conceptualize the SDGs points of Quality Education and based on the 4C dimensions (creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, communication) so that we can prepare the projections and potential of New Students for the next few years, especially in the Department of Islamic Economics, Universitas Airlangga .
The entire series of FRESH 2024 activities will take place around the Faculty of Economics & Business Universitas Airlangga , this FRESH 2024 activity will be charged a fee for New Students for consumption during the entire series of FRESH 2024 activities which aims to ensure the continuity and smooth running of all FRESH 2024 activities in the future.
