Expertise in photography and graphic design offers numerous benefits in the modern era. Therefore, students who study these skills can benefit themselves in various ways. Accounting students, particularly the HMA management, saw this opportunity and utilized existing resources to provide training to Universitas Airlangga undergraduate accounting students who needed these skills.

GRADIANT was created as a platform for Universitas Airlangga , hoping that it would benefit all participants and become the first gateway to learning photography and graphic design. This would allow them to innovate anywhere after the GRADIANT program.
The Gradiant program also supports SDGs point 8, Decent Work and Economic Growth, where participants are taught how to use photography skills in business. It is hoped that students can utilize the skills they have learned in this program in their future businesses, thereby boosting economic growth.
