AIRLANGGA ACCOUNTING LEAGUE 2019

The Airlangga Accounting League (AAL) is one of the programs held by the Intellectual Division of the Accounting Student Association, Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Airlangga. AAL also provides academic training in Accounting outside of the regular class schedule. The goal of this activity is to prepare undergraduate Accounting students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga for the Accounting Olympiad. Furthermore, this activity aims to develop the hard skills of undergraduate Accounting students of the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Airlangga so that they can better understand some of the material taught in lectures.

The Airlangga Accounting League began with participant selection on February 25-26, 2019 in classroom 204. 69 students registered, consisting of the classes of 2016, 2017, and 2018. From the selection process, 30 top-ranked students were selected to participate in the training. The training will be conducted six times, starting from March 8, 2019, to November 15, 2019, at the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Airlangga. AAL is held every Friday according to the schedule and materials determined by the committee.

So far, AAL training has been held twice, the first on March 8, 2019, at 09.00 – 11.00 WIB, held at the Tirto Hall of the Faculty of Economics and Business. In this first training, the material discussed was about Audit, which was filled by an experienced senior named Aora Alkahfi and attended by 15 participants. While the second AAL training was held on April 24, 2019, at 18.30-20.30 WIB, held in classroom 211. In this second training, the material discussed was about Intermediate Financial Accounting I, filled by an alumnus named Fajar Kristanto, attended by 10 participants.
