The Airlangga Accounting Competition is the largest annual work program and event organized by the Accounting Student Association of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga. This activity includes accounting competitions aimed at students of state and private universities and high school students.
The Airlangga Accounting Competition significantly contributes to Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4: Quality Education. Through this event, participants from various universities and high schools across Indonesia have the opportunity to develop and practice their accounting knowledge in a competitive and collaborative environment. The competition encourages improvements in the quality of education by providing a platform for students to exchange ideas and learn from each other.
Recognizing the importance of sustainability awareness in Indonesia in the face of growing demands to responsibly manage environmental, social, and governance impacts, AAC 2024 carries the theme “ESG Integration: Empowering Accountants to Guide a Sustainable Future.” This theme highlights the critical role of accountants in supporting the implementation of effective ESG practices and building a sustainable future.
