The Accounting Research Community (ARC) 2024 is an agenda of the Intellectual Division of HMA Universitas Airlangga which accommodates Accounting Students in paper preparation training to prepare themselves to participate in competitions. The Accounting Research Community (ARC) agenda aims to Deepen the knowledge of Accounting Undergraduate Students regarding research papers, improve and train the ability of Accounting Undergraduate Students to write papers, and realize Accounting Undergraduate Students are ready to participate in paper competitions and their work can be useful for others.
This agenda aligns with SDGs goal 8, Decent Work and Economic Growth. Through training and mentoring in paper writing, undergraduate accounting students can become more competent and improve their skills in the field of competition. This can increase their chances of finding decent work in the future or even prepare them to become professional accountants.
The Accounting Research Community (ARC) 2024 will be held four times, namely on March 9, 2024, March 15, 2024, April 19, 2024, and April 27, 2024, which will take place in the classroom and Zoom Meeting. The event held in the Zoom meeting will be held on March 9, 2024 and April 27, 2024, starting at 09.00 WIB with an opening by the mentor. Next, at 09.05 – 10.05 WIB, material and motivational sharing will be provided by the mentor. Then, the closing will be carried out by the mentor at 10.05 – 10.10 WIB. The implementation that will take place in the classroom will be held on March 15, 2024 and April 19, 2024, starting at 09.00 – 09.05 WIB with an opening by the mentor. Next, at 09.05 – 10.05 WIB, material will be provided by the mentor. Then a review of the material that has been discussed and sharing of motivation with the mentor at 10:05 – 10:25 WIB and finally closing by the mentor at 10:25 – 10:30 WIB.
