Accounting Fair or often known as A-Fair is one of the work programs of the Accounting Student Association Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) which is implemented with the aim of increasing the knowledge of Accounting undergraduate students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga regarding the interview in the job selection process as well as the auditing process and procedures.
In 2018, A-Fair was divided into two sub-events, namely interview training and audit training. One of the important stages of general company selection is the interview stage. College graduates often fail in facing interview selection due to lack of training so they are not prepared. Therefore, the Accounting Student Association Universitas Airlangga held an interview training to increase the knowledge of Accounting students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga regarding the interview in the world of work selection. The interview training was held in the Soepoyo Hall of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga on Friday, September 21, 2018, presenting speakers namely Dra. I. Novianingtyastuti, Psychologist and Drs. Anak Agung Gede T.Ak., CA., CPA. which was attended by 30 students. The event started at 08.40 WIB and ended at 11.00 WIB.
In addition, accounting students must have the qualifications required by companies, especially in the financial sector, one of which is auditing. However, the difficulty of the audit process is a problem for students, and the lack of training makes students unprepared. Therefore, the Accounting Student Association Universitas Airlangga held an audit training to increase the knowledge of Accounting students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga regarding audit processes and procedures. The audit training was held at the Mindrowo Hall, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga on Monday - Tuesday, September 24 - 25, 2018, with speakers namely Mulyadi Wonohardjo, SE., Msi., Ak., CPA. and Bayu Nurcahyo A., SE., MSA., Ak., CA., CPA. which was attended by 30 students. The event started at 08.40 WIB and ended at 15.00 WIB.
