Accounting Cup (A-CUP) is an Arts and Sports Competition within the internal scope of undergraduate students majoring in Accounting, Universitas Airlangga. The purpose of A-CUP is to strengthen the sense of family and friendship among AKS1 residents. In addition, A-CUP is a forum to channel the hidden interests and talents of AKS1 residents, and to channel the feeling of tournament euphoria for residents who have never experienced it. A-CUP is also a sporting event that is eagerly awaited every year. In addition, A-CUP is also a door for AKS1 residents who want to participate in other competitions such as the Dean Cup and Rector Cup.
The A-Cup activity also aligns with SDGs point number 3, namely "Ensuring health and well-being for all at all ages," especially for undergraduate Accounting students Universitas Airlangga. One way to achieve this goal is through sports activities. Sports competitions can be an effective tool to promote health and well-being, while also supporting the achievement of SDG 3.
The essence of this activity is to create a sense of family and close togetherness, while fostering a healthy competitive spirit. The kinship that is forged is not just a relationship, but a strong bond that 'embraces' each individual, ensuring that each member feels like part of something bigger. This year, A-CUP not only continues existing traditions and values, but also ignites the passion and potential within each participant. By adhering to established operational standards, this togetherness is maintained within a framework of sportsmanship and fairness, ensuring that every match and interaction takes place in an atmosphere of respect and fairness.
The theme we are carrying for this year's A-CUP is, "Super Mario's Spirit". With this theme, it is hoped that participants will not only compete or compete, but also make this event more colorful by building stronger bonds, discovering and developing their talents and potential, and fostering a spirit of sportsmanship, togetherness and persistence in improving their potential.
