Personal Branding and Career Mentoring (PBCM) is one of the work programs organized by the PSDM Division of the Islamic Economics Student Association Universitas Airlangga 2024, which is a series of events with the theme "Build Up Self-Branding and Career Development Through IISMA Program" which contains 2 activities held offline within 3 days.
This work program is held with the aim of facilitating Islamic Economics students Universitas Airlangga for those who have an interest in the Indonesian International Student Mobility Awards (IISMA) program. PBCM will be held with 2 agendas, namely seminars, talk shows, and mentoring that will discuss topics related to the Indonesian International Student Mobility Awards (IISMA) program. The second agenda is a talkshow that raises topics related to adaptability and time management and mentoring with the topic of essay practice.
The first agenda was the seminar held on May 14, 2024 in the Soepoyo Hall, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga . This activity contains the presentation of material presented by 2 external and internal speakers who will discuss the Indonesian International Student Mobility Awards (IISMA) program and have experience in their fields. The sub topic that will be discussed at this seminar is related to the procedures for participating in the IISMA program, IISMA timeline, things that must be prepared to register for iisma and other information about the iisma program.
On the second agenda, the talkshow will be held on May 21, 2024 in the Classroom 2.04 Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga . This activity is filled with material exposure to the topic of adaptability and time management, besides that it also discusses how to adapt to the new environment, what things must be considered when in a new environment, how to manage time, and wise ways to determine priorities.
Furthermore, on the last agenda to be held on May 22, 2024 in the Classroom 2.04 Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga . This activity is filled with training essay practice where essays are one of the requirements for registering the iisma program later students will be taught and trained to make essays whose ideas and analysis are structured, systematic, organized and in accordance with the provisions of the essay.
This activity aims to provide information related to good personal branding and information related to learning experiences abroad in preparation for entering the career world. This event supports SDGs number (4), namely quality education. This activity underlines the importance of the quality of education that must be inclusive, relevant, and provide the skills needed for productive life.
