Natural Sciences, Social Sciences = A Small Part of His Knowledge

Suaramuslim.net – Are we aware that the laws of nature also apply in social life? And that all true knowledge will support one another. Let's look at the following examples;

1. The force of attraction in the exact sciences is used in the social sciences as described in the book 'The Secret' and ''Law of Attraction'', that someone whose mind and heart are positive, it will attract positive things to him. And conversely someone whose mindset and heart is negative then negative things will be attracted to him. More or less the same thing is also stated in the teachings of Islam, that a good person will become a mate for a good person and vice versa, an adulterer will become a mate for an adulterer too. This can be seen in the following QS An Nuur 26:

"Violent women are for vile men, and vile men are for vile women (also), and good women are for good men and good men are for good women (too).(Surah An Nuur: 26)

2. In life, we also know the 'Pseudo Motion of the Sun' (that it is as if the sun is revolving around the earth), namely because of the limitations of our knowledge and experience of the objects we see and appear. So we then draw the wrong conclusions about the object. This also applies in our social life. Aren't we often wrong in judging others because of our limited knowledge and experience of others?

A hadith narrated by Bukhari (no. 1316) which is quite long also tells another wisdom, that there was a man who was considered by the companions to be an expert in heaven, because he fought bravely with the polytheists. However, Prophet Muhammad sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam instead stated that the man was a member of hell. And it was proven, when the man was injured, he actually committed suicide. In connection with this incident, the Prophet Muhammad sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam state:

"There are people who do the deeds of the contents of heaven according to human eyes, while he belongs to the contents of hell; There are people who do the deeds of the contents of hell according to human eyes, while he is included in the contents of heaven.(Narrated by Bukhari)

3. Archimedes' law of the upward force of water, also basically teaches that the result we receive (reaction) will depend on the effort we put in (action). Whatever results we get in this world and the hereafter, basically depends on our efforts to achieve them. There are investments that we make while living in this world, which we will get the results in the next life, don't you think? One of the verses related to this is QS Az Zumar: 51;

"So they are afflicted by the bad consequences of what they have worked for. And the wrongdoers among them will be afflicted with the bad consequences of their efforts and they will not be able to escape.(Surah Az Zumar: 51)

So the true natural sciences can basically be studied analogously with social science, and in the end if the science is true, then it must be in line with His teachings, as concluded by Albert Einstein, "All religions, arts and sciences are branches of the same tree."
