Suaramuslim.net – Kala Cinta Unrequited (KCTB) is the title of a song that I created to remind myself not to expect too much in return for anything we give to others. We will often be disappointed, if we always expect other people, (be it family, friends, subordinates, superiors, garbage collectors, security guards, etc.) subhanahu wa ta'ala who have been so kind as to bring people we help, inspire, and enable us to do).

The lyrics of the KCTB song (soundcloud.com/gancar-premananto/kala-cinta-tak-replied) are as follows:

"Like the sun on the earth, shine without hope to return.
Like the moon and stars at night, decorate without expecting commission.
Unlike us who always demand, for all the love and beauty that is given.
We learn from the sun, we learn from the moon and stars.

Ooo….

Like a cool wind that blows, never expect your thanks,
Like a shady tree that shade, don't complain even if you don't protect it.
Unlike us who always demand, for all the love and beauty that
given.
We learn from the wind, we learn from the shady trees.

Ooo…

Chorus: Just love, because you are lovers.
Just love, because you are loving.
Just love because you love.
Just give because you're generous.
We learn from nature, we learn from the Creator of nature,

Because we are all His creatures, the Most Merciful and the Most Merciful"

The song invites myself to be sincere about whatever I give to others, no matter whether I get a positive response or not. Sincere as QS Al Ikhlash: 1–4, which there is no sincere word in every verse. What is contained in the letter is realizing the existence of God as a dependent, that everything is presented by Him for our good.

Love for humans does not have a need to be reciprocated, but loving goodness because of Him is definitely rewarded.
