Suaramuslim.net – Many people claim that life is competition, so that in the form of television shows, competition programs such as American/Indonesian Idol, Miss Universe/Indonesia, Indonesian Dangdut Contest (KDI), and other auditions. Television shows are basically mini (miniature) forms/models that describe human life in general. In this mini form, the 1st place winner is everything, while those who don't win are just losers.

In everyday life, competition is also seen when we look for schools for our children and look for work for ourselves, even to find a partner. Even competition has occurred during the fertilization process (Anwar, 2012):

"Who is "right" to fertilize this egg also needs tough competition. The remaining sperm will scramble to break through the egg cell wall. What can you do, elbows happen to fight for the title."

If you only look at the process, then the statement that considers that from the beginning humans were created to compete fiercely, even 'nudged' each other, is true. However, when examined further, the fertilization process is not that simple. Based on information from Harun Yahya (2007), interesting information is obtained as follows:

β€œProfessor Cevat Babuna, former dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Gynecology and Obstetrics, Istanbul University, describes the special design on this sperm as follows:

'Sperm cells are made in the father's body. But the function of this sperm is carried out in the mother's body. And since this world began, in other words in the history of mankind, no sperm has had the opportunity to return to the body of the Father after carrying out its duties in the body of the Mother, and then say to the cells that have made it up about what they have done, what difficulties do they face, or what is their task.

So then, how does a sperm cell have such a different structure from all the thousands of different kinds of cells in the body?

How does the sperm cell know that it will carry the genetic payload it has taken from the father's body to another body which will then bring it to life, so that the head, i.e. the front, must have protection?

How does a sperm cell know that it is going to penetrate the cell membrane so that it also carries a number of chemical weapons mounted behind its shield?

So you know that it is impossible that all the structures in this cell, the tasks it performs, the various events it experiences are a coincidence, it does them by chance, or even that it consciously does all of this over and over again. This is the clearest evidence of how Allah, the Creator, has given him this task, and how he has done it in the most perfect way.'

The amazing design in sperm design itself is a marvel of creation. About 250 million sperm at one time are delivered to the mother's womb. This number is deliberately set high, because as soon as these sperm enter the mother's body, they find themselves faced with deadly danger. There is a concentrated mixture of acids in the mother's reproductive organs that block the growth of bacteria. This acid mixture is also lethal to sperm. Within minutes, the uterine wall is covered with millions of dead sperm. A few hours later, most of the 250 million sperm will die. This acid compound, which is very important for the health of the mother, is so potent that it easily kills all sperm that enters the uterus. In this event, fertilization cannot occur, and the human race will become extinct.

However, Allah, who created sperm, also created a deterrent against the dangers that sperm will encounter in the mother's womb. When sperm is being produced in the father's body, alkaline compounds are added to the fluid containing the sperm. This compound reduces the effect of acid in the mother's womb. Therefore, some sperm escapes into the mother's womb and manages to reach the entrance to the fallopian tube."

Based on the description above, the fertilization process is not a process that smells of cruel and deadly competition. Millions of sperm die, intended to make a safe journey for other sperm to arrive at their destination safely. Thus, in the process of fertilization there is a process of mutual support to achieve the goal.

Therefore, in a life, we should not do a competition that kills each other. We should help each other to achieve common goals and happiness. Even if there is competition, then the competition is competing to do good to each other. This is in accordance with the information contained in the following QS Al Baqarah: 148:

"So compete (in making) goodness.(Surat al-Baqarah: 148)

Life is not about 'Competing' but 'Co-existing' or even 'Co-creation', that's make our life beautif.
