Abstract
This research was conducted on cigarette industry companies that have gone public on the Surabaya Stock Exchange, namely PT HM Sampoerna Tbk., PT Gudang Garam Tbk., and PT BAT Indonesia Tbk. With the aim of: (1) to find out whether there is an effect of current ratio, quick ratio, working capital to total assets ratio, total debt to equity ratio, total debt to total assets ratio, long term debt to equity ratio, times interest earned ratio to ROI cigarette industry companies that have gone public on the Surabaya Stock Exchange. (2) To find out which is the most influential among the current ratio, quick ratio, working capital to total assets ratio, total debt to equity ratio, total debt to total assets ratio, long term debt to equity ratio, times interest earned ratio to ROI cigarette industry companies that have gone public on the Surabaya Stock Exchange. (3) To find out whether there is a difference in ROI of the cigarette industry companies PT HM Sampoerna Tbk., PT Gudang Garam Tbk., and PT BAT Indonesia Tbk. Data analysis was carried out using multiple regression data analysis techniques and one-way ANOVA, with the help of a microstat computer program. With the following results: 1. Simultaneously there is a significant effect between the current ratio, quick ratio, working capital to total assets ratio, total debt to equity ratio, total debt to total assets ratio, long term debt to equity ratio, times interest earned ratio of the ROI of the cigarette industry companies that have gone public on the Surabaya Stock Exchange. 2. Partially the biggest influence is the current ratio, quick ratio, working capital to total assets ratio, total debt to equity ratio, total debt to total assets ratio, long term debt to equity ratio, times interest earned ratio on ROI of industrial companies cigarettes that have gone public on the Surabaya Stock Exchange is the times interest earned ratio. 3. There is no difference in ROI of the cigarette industry companies PT HM Sampoerna Tbk., PT Gudang Garam Tbk., and PT BAT Indonesia Tbk., which have gone public on the Surabaya Stock Exchange.
