Abstract

Alternative transportation in this era has more or less changed the lifestyle of consumers. The need for agile modes combined with offering relatively cheap service prices makes the Gojek company the most desirable start-up business. In an instant this company turned into one of the largest online motorcycle taxi-based service providers in Indonesia. However, in practice many of the turmoil that arises are voiced by Gojek drivers. Wage issues and procedures enforced by the company often make Gojek drivers angry. This disappointment in turn will play an important role in influencing the individual's perception of satisfaction. This study aims to determine the effect of distributive justice and procedural justice on job satisfaction through perceived organizational support for Gojek drivers. This study uses a quantitative approach, with the method of collecting data through a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used partial least square (PLS) which was processed using SmartPLS software. Contrasting with events that often occur in the field, the results of the study indicate that distributive justice and procedural justice have a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction. Then perceived organizational support was included as a mediator which also showed a positive and significant effect on the relationship between distributive justice and procedural justice on job satisfaction.
