Charity PKK FEB UA 2018
Wednesday (24/10) PKK FEB UNAIR held a Charity event at the PIA Salvation Army "Sunrise", Tegalsari, Surabaya. This year's charity event targets toddlers aged 0-5 years who have no parents and some are unable to be taken care of by their parents. This charity is a place to share love and togetherness so that Catholic students can deepen their gratitude in life that has been bestowed by God.
Participants gathered on campus first and left together at 09.00 and arrived at around 09.30, then continued with preparations by the committee. At around 10.00 the event started with the opening by the MC and continued with the Opening Prayer, then to make it more lively, we sang together happily. Next, we invited the younger siblings to color according to their creations. We also help feed them lunch and play together. At the end of the event, each of us present brought gifts in the form of books and stationery. We gave the gifts to them one by one. Not to forget, we also gave a sign of love to the Salvation Army as a form of our gratitude.
