Airlangga University Stock Exchange Competition 2021

Management Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga held an annual event, Management Expo 2021. UASTEC (Universitas Airlangga Stock Exchange Competition) is one of the sub-events that will be held in the series of events. UASTEC is a stock and capital market competition for SMA/SMK students at the national level. This year, UASTEC carries the theme Use Your Youth for Your Financial Development with Investment as an effort to support the recovery and growth of the national economy. UASTEC registration has started to open from Presale 1 from July 10 to August 15, 2021. Then we also open Registration for Presale 2 from August 16 to September 15. After registration we held a preliminary round on Sunday, September 19, 2021. In this preliminary round there were 50 multiple choice questions with a time of 60 minutes. Participants who pass the preliminary round will be announced via our Instagram on September 26, 2021. Before heading to the semifinals, we will hold a Technical Meeting on October 3, 2021. 

Different from the previous year, UASTEC now comes with a Class Simulation where participants will feel the sensation of taking classes in management which will be taught directly by management lecturers at Airlangga University. Then after the class simulation, we will hold a webinar which will be attended by the semifinal participants and is also open to the public. Our goal in holding this webinar is to gain insight into investing in stocks. Then we also held trading and video collection in the range of November 8-14, 2021 for the assessment aspect in this semifinal. It is hoped that this trading activity will encourage education oriented to the practice of stock trading so that it can be used as a forum for understanding and learning about stock trading. Then the announcement of the final pass will be announced on November 21, 2021 and the final round itself will be held on Sunday, November 28, 2021. In this final round there are 5 teams who will present their presentations in front of the judges. After the assessments from the jury have been collected, the 1st place, 2nd place, 3rd place winner will be announced, as well as best trading and best presentation at the awarding which will be held on December 4, 2021. This is the series of events for UASTEC 2021, it is hoped that this competition will attract young people, especially children. SMA/SMK in investing
