Internal Workshops

The Internal Workshop is one of the work programs of the Entrepreneurship Department of the Development Economics Student Association of Airlangga University which is a forum for students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga to provide knowledge and training on the systematics of writing business plan proposals. The participants of the Internal Workshop consist of 2-3 members per group. who is accompanied by respective mentors who are competent in the field of writing business plans.

The Internal Workshop carries the theme "Youngpreneur in Millenial Era" which has been carried out in stages for 3 meetings. The first meeting was held on August 20 2018, at 16.00 in the Mindrowo Hall, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga. In this first session, we invited Sulthan Al Fathir (CEO of CV. Polita Nusantara & Founder of YES Institute Indonesia) as our speaker at the Internal Workshop which gave 3 important points in starting a business plan, namely brainstorming, motivation and creating a proposal. Participants were very enthusiastic about receiving material from him. And in the last 5 minutes, a sharing session with the mentor was held aimed at guiding and controlling the participants.

The second meeting was held on September 18 2018, at 18.00 in the Mindrowo Hall, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga. This time we invited Wachidatul Qomariah (mentor of YES Institute) who gave material on packaging, marketing, and branding. At the second meeting, the participants already had a concept and description of their product, which in the third meeting would be presented to the two speakers.

The third meeting was held on November 1 2018, at 18.00 in the Mindrowo Hall, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga. This time, the participants were guided to create a power point that is usually displayed during a business plan competition. And then present it. Presentations were made randomly by 4 groups. And 1 group was taken as the winner in the Best Idea category.

Internal Workshop is a new forum. Therefore, it is hoped that the Internal Workshop can continue to inspire many students and become a means/facilitator who can have a positive impact on increasing the entrepreneurial spirit and writing business plans.
