SHARIA FINANCE EXPO 2018 UIN SUNAN KALIJAGA, YOGYAKARTA

Sharia Finance Expo is an annual event held by UIN SUNAN KALIJAGA with many activities. Among them are bazaars, children's competitions, and one of them is the Islamic Economics Olympiad for students at the national level. This Olympiad was attended by students from all over Indonesia which consisted of 3 stages. The first stage is a written test, the second stage is group discussion and the third stage is essay presentation. This Olympics aims to increase the knowledge of the rabbinic generation related to Islamic economic issues or problems which are increasingly complex day by day, so it is hoped that in the future they can contribute to the development of the Islamic economy. This year, SFE carries the theme "Optimizing the Role of Islamic Finance Towards Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)". SFE is organized by HIMA Islamic Financial Management UIN SUNAN KALIJAGA Yogyakarta.

The initial selection for the Olympics is essay collection, for the 10 best essay teams that have passed the collection stage can take part in the SFE semi-finals at UIN SUNAN KALIJAGA Yogyakarta on 28-30 October 2018.

The last agenda of the Islamic economics olympiad activity was the gala dinner which was held on October 30, 2018 which ended with awarding the winners. 1st place was won by UIN MAULANA MALIK IBRAHIM, 2nd place was won by STEI TAZKIYA, and 3rd place was won by AIRLANGGA UNIVERSITY.
