Iqtishoduna 2018

IQTISHODUNA is the largest Work Program in the Islamic Economics Student Association, Faculty of Economics and Business, Airlangga University. In IQTISHODUNA 2018 there are 3 (three) sub-events, namely the iSlamic Economics Olympiad (SEO), Seminar and Call For Paper (SCFP), and Sharia Fair (SF).

This IQTISHODUNA activity was carried out by Islamic Economics Students, Faculty of Economics and Business, Airlangga University. And the holding of this IQTISHOSUNA event is intended for all groups, from high school students, university students, to the general public to introduce the Islamic Economics Study Program.

So the 3 (three) sub-events contained in IQTISHODUNA were carried out in several places, the iSlamic Economics Olympiad (SEO) and Seminar and Call For Paper (SCFP) were held at the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Airlangga where in a series of events a field trip was held by conducting visits to monumental places in Surabaya such as the Heroes Monument, Javalaseva Jayamahe, etc. Meanwhile, the Sharia Fair (SF) was held at the Royal Plaza Surabaya.

1. Islamic Economics Olympiad (SEO)

ISlamic Economics Olympiad (SEO) is a national competition at the SMA/MA equivalent level covering all regions in Indonesia. Each team consists of two active students and must be from the same school. Prior to the online preliminary round held in August, there will be two try outs, each in May and August. Try out is done through an online system. Then, in August, the preliminary round will also be held through an online system.

In the online elimination, only the best 50 teams were taken to proceed to the next round in the city of Surabaya. Then participants will do several rounds to fight for the 1st, 2nd, 3rd place, 1st hope, and 2nd hope. Prizes consist of winner certificates, medals, trophies, and cash. After the Olympics round is over, participants will do the following: field trip to some famous places in Surabaya. Winners will be announced at the peak of the IQTISHODUNA event.

2. Seminar and Call For Paper (SCFP)

This activity is divided into two, namely Call For Paper and National Seminar, which is a national level Islamic economics scientific writing competition for the category of active D3 or S1 students throughout Indonesia. The procedure for registration for this competition is by filling out the registration form provided by the committee along with its conditions and is free of charge. Participants consist of one team, one team consists of a maximum of three people (may be individual). For the initial selection, each team is asked to send Abstract first to the committee to be selected by the jury. Must send fullpaper to the committee if the abstract is declared to have passed by the jury and 10 finalists will be taken with a score ofpaper highest who is then required to present paperher in front of 3 jury and hearing.The selected participants will be charged a registration fee which is allocated for accommodation while in Surabaya. The next round is the semifinals which consists of 5 teams selected to compete for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. In this semifinal, each participant will be given study case to further present their related analysis study case before the three judges and the other finalists. The Call For Paper (CFP) event was held at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga. Meanwhile, the National Seminar is a continuation of the Call For Paper which aims to study Islamic economics by Islamic economic experts. The participants of this seminar are the general public and the finalists of Call For Paper. The National Seminar will present speakers from both Islamic economics academics, Islamic economic practitioners, and Islamic economic policy makers. Before the seminar ends, the winners will be announced Call For Papers namely 1st, 2nd, 3rd place, 1st hope, and 2nd hope.

3. Sharia Fair (SF)

Sharia Fair 2018 as the closing of the IQTISHODUNA series of events which is the annual event of HIMA Islamic Economics Airlangga University as well as an expo of products from various Islamic Financial Institutions, it is hoped that HIMA Islamic Economics can establish cooperation and establish friendships between companies, Islamic Financial Institutions, and students of Islamic Economics University Airlangga. The concept of the event is to display products from companies (bazaars) and companies provide information to the public so they know how far sharia companies have developed and it is hoped that companies can establish relationships with HIMA EKIS FEB UNAIR if they cooperate or provide information about job vacancies in their participating companies. and assisting graduates from the Department of Islamic Economics, Airlangga University.
