BAP EVEN INVESTOR ACTIVATION 2021

On Friday, May 7, 2021, an Investor Activation was held which was organized by KSPM FEB Unair. Investor Activation is a routine activity held every semester which is a continuation of the previous Capital Market School. This time, AI was held online through the Zoom platform with the theme “Trading Psychology: Understanding Investor Behavior During Economic Recovery” with around 74 participants attending. The AI event started at 08.00 and was hosted by MC Betris.

The pandemic that has occurred since March 2020 has changed many aspects of life. Many activities are affected so that they cannot run as they should. Even so, the investment trend has even shown an increase among the people of Indonesia. With the increasing trend of investing among the public, the need for investment knowledge also increases. Therefore, SPM and AI are present as a form of educational activity regarding the world of capital markets and investment initiated by KSPM FEB Unair for beginners who are interested in it.

This year AI invited two speakers, one of which is Adhitya Naufal Azmi who is the Chair of the Surabaya ISP in 2021. In his presentation, Adhitya explained about investment in general and tips on investing for beginners. The second speaker came from Indo Premier Sekuritas, namely Peni Rahmadani who described as an investment specialist. The material in this second session discusses fundamentals and technical analysis. In her presentation, Peni explained how to prepare for the initial investment, namely 3M which includes money, mind, and method. Which is an important consideration before investing. In addition, the selection of securities and stocks is also an important consideration in starting an investment. In this case, Peni also explains how to choose stocks through fundamental and technical analysis.

In addition to the material presentation, this Investor Activation activity is also interspersed with games that make the event less monotonous and more interactive with the participants. It is hoped that with educational activities such as Investor Activation, Indonesian people can be wiser in choosing stocks or investments so as to reduce the opportunity to be trapped in fraudulent investments.
