IX 2018 UGM Corruption-Free Economics National Student Conference, Yogyakarta







The National Student Conference is a meeting of students throughout Indonesia in the context of discussions and conveying ideas related to efforts to eradicate corporate corruption in the private sector. This year, KMN EBK IX carries the theme "Investigating the Traces of Corporate Corruption in Its Impact on the Indonesian Economy". The National Student Conference is one of a series of EBK (Corruption Free Economy) IX events consisting of a national level student paper competition, group discussions, and field trips. EBK was organized by BEM FEB (Faculty of Economics and Business) Universitas Gadjah Mada Yogyakarta, by presenting the EBK IX talkshow with the theme “Revealing the Veil and Trapping the Private Sector Mafia”.


The EBK agenda consists of paper competitions, group discussions, and field trips. The initial selection of the paper competition is the collection of abstract papers, for the 20 best abstract teams that have passed the abstract collection stage can take part in the paper presentation agenda and group discussion of KMN EBK IX at UGM Yogyakarta on 1 & 2 November 2018 and on 31 October 2018 the Technical A meeting for the KMN EBK IX event which was attended by all contestants.


The Anti-corruption Talkshow Agenda was held on November 3, 2018, the Anti-corruption Talkshow was a discussion with private sector corporate corruption experts. The series of talk shows consisted of Ebk Talk sessions, interactive sessions with speakers, and question and answer sessions. At the end of the Talkshow, the winners of the EBK agenda of paper competition and group discussion were announced as 1st place, 2nd place, 3rd place, best 1st delegate, and 2nd best delegate.


The Anti-Corruption Concert agenda or the Corruption-Free Economic Concert is the closing of the IX Corruption-Free Economy series. The EBK concert was held with the aim of increasing public awareness, especially to stakeholders in the education sector, of anti-corruption values ​​through artistic performances. The outline of the event will feature jogja musicians and national musicians packed with anti-corruption messages. The EBK Koser also facilitates photography, painting, or mural works of art as a venue for showing works and campaigning for an anti-corruption spirit that is realized through exhibitions and venue decorations. The performances or works of art are made by high school students, college students, and the community which is the closest young generation as the nation's successor. The EBK concert will be opened by local Yogyakarta musicians with inspirational works, such as Sungai and Ruban in the South. The peak night of the EBK Concert will be closed with the appearance of the Naif National Guest Star and HIVI!, which will also spark the spirit of anti-corruption. This concert was held on Saturday 10 November 2018 at Universitas Gadjah Mada.
