Of the many strategic meetings, some of them have been and are currently collaborating with FEB UNAIR, and some are completely new.

With new partners, the average cooperation is in the form of a program at FEB called the International Program. The program aims at staff and student mobility, in the form of outbound and inbound, as well as part time and full time.

The first day of the exhibition on Tuesday (26/3/2019), for example, the FEB team had a strategic meeting with as many as 10 foreign university partners. Two of them immediately agreed to sign a memorandum of understanding (MoU). The two universities are Amsterdam University and The Hague University.

“There are two universities that have submitted MoUs. Namely with Amsterdam University and The Hague University. That's new. There has never been before (collaboration, ed),” said the Deputy Dean of FEB for cooperation, Dr. Nisful Laila, SE, M.Com.

Meanwhile, Nisful continued, meetings with old partners who have or are currently collaborating are evaluated and discussed the possibility of further cooperation.

“With other universities, we evaluate the extent of the cooperation. Like with Saxion University. There is a double degree with him,” explained Nisful. "In essence, we monitor the existing ones and start new ones," he added.

Until 2019, FEB UNAIR's cooperation with foreign partners is quite high. The target is cooperation with five continents. Until now, continued Nisful, in total there are dozens of universities from 20 countries that have collaborated with FEB. The universities come from the continents of Asia, Australia, Europe, and Africa.

"After last month we went to Japan, this year we hope there will be cooperation with America," said Nisful.

Through his participation in APAIE, Nisful hopes that FEB UNAIR will attract more collaborations with partners from foreign universities. Thus, UNAIR's network with the global community is getting wider.

“This is a big event, almost 2000 delegates attended. They have the same interests. If we can use it well, then we can take advantage,” explained Nisful. (*)
