The Role of IT in Reducing Corruption Levels in the Municipal Government

The Surabaya City Government collaborates with Airlangga University, Faculty of Economics and Business in a seminar with the theme "The Role of IT in Reducing Corruption Levels in the Municipal Government". This event was held in the Fadjar Notonegoro Hall.

To reduce corruption in government ranks, especially in the Surabaya City area, currently using IT in its activities, even some programs are already IT-based by involving the city community directly (e-government). Currently, the city of Surabaya is already using e-bugeting and e-procurement although it is still very simple. This is done to reduce fraud or corruption.

This event was opened by the Deputy Dean III of FEB Unair Nisful Laila, SE., M.Com, followed by a seminar The Role of IT in Reducing Corruption Levels in the Municipal Government. at 08.30 WIB. This event was divided into two sessions, namely a review from the academic side and a practical review represented by officials from the Surabaya City Government. The seminar ends at 12.30 WIB.
