FEB Unair to Host HSBC Business Case Competition Regional Selection

FEB UNAIR – HSBC Business Case Competition (BCC) is event which is very prestigious among Indonesian undergraduate students. This competition is an annual competition organized by HSBC Indonesia and Putera Sampoerna Foundation. This activity aims to recruit prospective leaders from millennial students, where they are prepared to contribute ideas and are also ready to face challenges in the business world in the future.

This year the competition was held again with various stages of selection. Recently, the regional selection of Kopertis VII was held in the Tirto Hall of the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) on Monday (18/3/2019). In total there were seven teams, which were attended by representatives of the best teams from three leading universities in East Java. Among them are three teams from Brawijaya University (UB), one team from Surabaya University (UBAYA), and three teams from UNAIR.

After going through various aspects of the assessment, the results showed that the representatives of East Java to advance to the national level were one team from UBAYA and one team from UNAIR. Jovi Sulistiawan, SE, M.SM. as the coach of the Unair team said that the team that passed was the best team for East Java, where the results they achieved were the fruit of their hard work so far.

Dr. Rudi Purwono as Deputy Dean 1 for Education and Student Affairs FEB Unair added to the importance of the competition and he hoped that the qualifying team would be able to win the HSBC Business Case Competition at the National Level and be able to represent the HSBC BCC Asia Pacific Level which will be held in Hong Kong in June 2019.
