FEB UNAIR 60th Anniversary celebration virtually

(FEB NEWS) Monday, August 9, 2021 - Virtual 60th Anniversary of the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Airlangga (FEB UNAIR), hosted by 2 (two) famous MCs Ning Siwi and Cak Deni, filled with laughter, shared joy, and a flood of gifts.

Around 211 (two hundred and eleven) academics were present in the virtual event which consisted of elements, the Rector of Universitas Airlangga and his staff, the Dean of FEB UNAIR, leaders and professors/seniors, in the FEB UNAIR environment, lecturers, employees (both those who are still active). and those who have retired), alumni, representatives of IKA UNAIR, IKAFE representatives, Dharma Wanita administrators and representatives from student organizations, international students, as well as invitees.

The Thanksgiving event was marked by the virtual cutting of the cone, which was led by the Dean of FEB UNAIR – Prof. Dr. Dian Aguatia, SE., MSi., Ak., CMA., CA. together with the Deans of the Previous Period, namely Prof. Sri Maemunah Suharto, Dr. Karyadi Mintaroem MS., Dr. Edy Juwono Slamet, MA., and Prof. Dr. MUSLICH ANSHORI SE., M.Sc., Ak., CA.

In an atmosphere of gratitude, Prof. Dr. Dian Aguatia, SE., MSi., Ak., CMA., CA. voiced to the entire academic community to face and answer all the challenges of change, whether changes due to the pandemic, or changes in information technology (IT), in support of the vision of Indonesia to create superior human resources, always happy. Moreover, during the current pandemic, stress, anxiety, and depression levels are also very high, but they still have to carry out all tasks. The pandemic period does not mean that the workload will be reduced, in fact quite the opposite. For this reason, it is felt that it is increasingly necessary to strengthen each other, collaborate, cooperate / synergize with the heart, in carrying out all the tough challenges that are already ahead, because by synergizing with the heart, whatever tough tasks await in the future will be carried out.

Launching of a Series of Dies Natalis Events and Lively Citizens Competition FEB UNAIR (1st SELOW-FUN) 2021. Also carried out by Prof. Dr. Dian Agustia. The gratitude of FEB UNAIR reaching the age of 6 decades is marked by various activities. Because it was held during a pandemic, FEB Unair carried the theme FEB Cares FEB Sharing. One of the main activities of the Anniversary is to create a social movement to raise awareness, and share the burden of the pandemic together.

UNAIR RECTOR - Prof. Dr. Mohammad Nasih, SE., MT., Ak., (Alumni FEB UNAIR '85), who was also present at the event said in his speech about “the need to socialize more together, to develop the values that have been developed by UNAIR, especially for students and alumni and of course to all of us”. GREAT, which means Humble, Excellence, Brave, Agile, and Transcendence. Where the meaning of H = Honest, Humble, Helpful (honesty - humility and also caring), E = Excellence means that these traits must be encouraged in all of us, B = Brave means that as arek suroboyo, must put forward an attitude of courage to defend what is right, to develop the good, and dare to provide benefits to others, A = Agile means that in this era we need people who are agile, people who are agile, people who don't just sit idly by, of course UNAIR needs people who very, very agile that can exist in various places. The last is T = Transcendence, everything that happens, all efforts and everything that is done is because of Allah SWT and of course also for Allah SWT. Transcendence must also be continuously encouraged to campus residents according to their respective faiths and beliefs. This is what is known as the GREAT UNAIR, UNAIR who wants to instill in its campus residents the attitude of honesty, humbleness, excellence, courage, tenacity and transcendence. So FEB ONE is also part of the value that needs to be instilled as well. The unity, according to Prof. Dr. Mohammad Nasih, SE., MT., Ak., “not only shows No. 1 (one), but also the most important thing is that all campus residents must have one vision, one mission which is more or less the same and in the language of physics, all campus residents have the same vector, one common goal, that is, all are expected to provide added value. maximally personally, especially for our students and students and contribute significantly to life both locally, nationally, and globally. So the hope is that all of them have one vision, one goal, one common direction in the process of building and/or devoting our knowledge in the world of FEB UNAIR education”. Prof. Dr. Mohammad Nasih, SE., MT., Ak., also congratulated FEB UNAIR for the various achievements that have been achieved by FEB UNAIR which were very extraordinary in maintaining the quality of the existing educational process and even making significant progress with many international recognition, international accreditation and/or graduates who are increasingly gaining recognition in the professional world.

At the end of his speech Prof. Dr. Mohammad Nasih, SE., MT., Ak., also gave a prize in the form of a watch for 1 winner who could guess 1 question, and the answer to that question was won by Dr. Hamidah SE, M.Sc., Ak., even though the answers that are taken are answers that are close to the truth.

In this 60th FEB UNAIR Anniversary, the main prize in the form of Umrah was won by Hasan – Tendik FEB UNAIR, Alhamdulillah….Pak Hasan. Hopefully the gift for leaving is also a call from Allah SWT through FEB UNAIR, can always give blessings and success to all of us, FEB UNAIR and UNAIR.
