STUCOVIS 2024 FUTURE BEYOND BEM FEB UNAIR

STUCOVIS 2024 FUTURE BEYOND BEM FEB UNAIR(FEB NEWS) For 5 days, from October 14 to 18, 2024, student representatives from the Student Executive Board (BEM) of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga (FEB UNAIR) went on an exciting adventure through the Study to Company and Campus Visit program “STUCOVIS 2024”. The work program held by the Department of External Relations of BEM FEB UNAIR for the 2024 period took participants to explore the world of work by visiting a number of reputable companies in the Jakarta area, such as the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia, Bank Jago, PT Pertamina (Persero) Tbk, and Deloitte. Not only that, a golden opportunity was also wide open for participants to learn with comparative study visits at BEM FIB UI and BEM FEM IPB.

By involving 60 BEM FEB UNAIR 2024 functionaries, the STUCOVIS 2024 program, accompanied by Ms. Nabilah Ratnaduhita Firjatullah, SE, MSM as the advisor, aims to produce innovative and globally competitive young leaders. Through the Study to Company work program with visits to various well-known companies, it aims to strengthen the relationship between BEM FEB UNAIR 2024 functionaries and the visited institutions and gain insight into the world of work. Some activities carried out during the visit included attending material sessions delivered by representatives of the institutions, most of which also provided information related to recruitment, as well as taking office tours.

In addition, the Campus Visit, which visits educational institutions in the Greater Jakarta area, aims to gain and share experiences related to the management and work programs implemented by each Student Executive Board (BEM). The event began with a presentation from the BEM of the Faculty visited, followed by a presentation by the BEM FEB Unair to introduce the vision and mission, cabinet elements and their meanings, and cabinet composition. In addition to expanding networks and insights, the Campus Visit is also designed to develop participants' soft skills. Through the Sharing Session, participants are trained to convey ideas clearly, brainstorm, and discuss with their respective bureaus and departments. This activity also fosters participants' self-confidence and adaptability in facing new and different situations. Thus, participants not only gain academic knowledge but also relevant skills.

It is hoped that this program can be a valuable provision for participants in facing future challenges and actively contributing to building the nation.
